My friend has just started a new business and she is making a fantastic success out of it. She noticed that despite the recession, everyone was still having birthday parties for their children but were looking for a way of doing it on a budget. She therefore decided that she would start selling cheap birthday party supplies and she has not looked back. She provides all of the plates, cups, napkins as well as the party bags, balloons and party hats for a fraction of the cost that people could do it for themselves. She has a fantastic supplier who sells her pretty good quality things as well. I think that it is a great idea and I know that everyone who uses her finds that they get a good deal and are happy with what they get. The party supplies are cheap and cheerful but they do the job, save the mum money and keep the children happy so they certainly fulfill their need. I have offered to help her out with her business but it is not that big yet. I really need a job and so I am telling everyone about it and hoping that soon she does need an assistant and I will be able to help her out and get some money for myself!
